One Evaluated After Single-Vehicle Crash

Middlesex, NY — On November 20th, about 6:30 p.m., Middlesex Fire responded to a single-vehicle crash in which the driver was seen strolling in the surrounding woods. Firefighters found the person, who was evaluated by Middlesex EMTs and released. Crews limited traffic to one lane and aided with scene safety until the Yates County Sheriff's Office took over the investigation. Middlesex Ambulance and the Canandaigua Emergency Squad were first dispatched but then canceled. The department commended drivers for slowing down and giving responders space to work during the incident.
