Gorham, NH — November 22 — Gorham NH Fire & EMS held practical training to reinforce important fire assault techniques that need constant practice. The former MOMs Jericho facility, which is slated for demolition, served as an important training ground for firefighters. In order to better prepare for future emergencies, crews performed search and rescue, ladder operations, and hose advancement under realistic conditions. Members concentrated on internal operations and communication on Tuesday evening. The next morning, Shelburne Fire Department units gathered for cooperative evolutions, enhancing collaboration between mutual-aid partners. Responders observed that regular training enhances coordination and safety, particularly in high-risk scenarios like structure fires. The department expressed gratitude to partners and property owners for their assistance of local emergency preparedness.
