November 11, 2025 — On this Veterans Day, Citrus County Fire Rescue proudly honors all who have served and those who continue to serve in the United States Armed Forces. The department also recognizes the veterans within its own ranks—including several who are still actively serving—for their dual commitment to country and community.

Among them is one of CCFR’s newest members, Firefighter D’Eric Davis, an Army veteran who continues his legacy of service through his work in the fire service.

CCFR extends heartfelt gratitude to every veteran for their courage, sacrifice, and devotion to protecting others.

Happy Veterans Day, and thank you for your service.
