Arcade, NY — November 5 — The Arcade Fire Department congratulates Assistant Chief Bray, Lieutenant Marks, and Firefighter Rogers on completing the Truck Company Operations training through the Wyoming County Office of Emergency Services. The course teaches skills required for rapid intervention crews, which are in charge of rescuing firemen during emergency operations.
The training, according to the department, contributes to ongoing efforts to improve internal RIC readiness while also helping to build a countywide rapid intervention team, which is slated to be formalized next summer. Arcade Fire praised the members for their dedication to improving safety and response skills around the region.
