October kept the Adamstown Fire Company busy as crews dedicated the month to fire prevention and public education. Throughout the community, firefighters engaged with residents, students, and families to promote safety and preparedness.

Last week, members carried out their largest annual fire prevention program at Adamstown Elementary School, partnering with Reinholds Fire Company to deliver demonstrations and age-appropriate safety lessons to students.

Earlier in the month, the department joined home school parents, Fivepointville Ambulance Service, and the Brecknock Township Volunteer Fire Department to host a comprehensive home school safety program. More than 60 students participated in hands-on learning covering emergency response, fire safety, and injury prevention.

The Adamstown Fire Company extends its appreciation to all partner agencies, educators, and families who helped make this year’s Fire Prevention Month a success, reinforcing the importance of fire safety across the community.
