Ferrisburgh, Vt. — October 29 —Ferrisburgh Volunteer Fire Department cadets spent Wednesday night training with a live brush burn. The exercise focused on hose line advancement, fire attack coordination, and teamwork while safely managing an active burn pile.

For several cadets, it was their first time using air packs, adding valuable experience to their early training. The session helped build confidence and reinforce fundamentals as the department continues preparing its future firefighters.
