Ferrisburgh Crews Support Charlotte Fire with Ventilation

Ferrisburgh, Vt. — October 28 — Ferrisburgh Fire Department responded on mutual aid to Charlotte for a reported fire alarm activation with an odor of smoke and light haze inside a residence. Ferrisburgh Engine 1 and Tanker were dispatched to assist Charlotte Fire Department with the incident.

Upon arrival, crews helped ventilate the structure and confirm that the situation was under control before being released from the scene at 2:10 p.m.

Department officials noted that mutual-aid responses like this demonstrate the strong cooperation between neighboring fire departments, ensuring timely and effective service across community lines.
