FARMINGVILLE, NY - Farmingville firefighters recently welcomed home one of their own from the U.S. Navy. Petty Officer Vince Egbert, Jr. returned to his firehouse with a full escort and a huge American flag hanging high. The Holtsville FD was on hand to help raise the flag for all to see. Family, friends, and fire personnel waited on the apron with smiles and cheered his arrival. Thank you for your service Petty Officer Vince Egbert, Jr., and good luck as you await FDNY appointment!
