Macon-Bibb Fire Runs Fatal Fire on Alfred Drive

Macon, GA – Around 12:15 P.M. on July 27th, Macon-Bibb Fire was alerted to the 3000 block of Alfred Drive for a house on fire. On arrival firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions. Macon firefighters pulled several lines and made a quick attack into the one-story home. During the search of the residence, firefighters found a 69-year-old male deceased. According to the Macon-Bibb County Fire Investigators, the fire started in the kitchen and it appears to be accidental. An autopsy was performed.
