Seminole County Fire Department Graduates Newest Class

The Seminole County Fire Department is pleased to announce its firefighter recruit Class 21-01. The 23 new recruits recently graduated from 8-week intensive orientation training at the Seminole County Fire Department. SCFD will be starting a new training class in early November 2021.

“We are building the future of the Seminole County Fire Department – and you are part of the future we envision,” said Seminole County Fire Chief Otto Drozd III. “Cherish your time within the Fire Service for it is a noble and honorable profession.”

Of the 23 new recruits who graduated:

-43% of the grads currently reside in Seminole County, FL

-About 40% of the grads grew up in Seminole County so they will be serving their hometown community

-43% have previous firefighter experience
