Wild-Land Fire Erupts at Lake Hughes

A dangerous wild-land fire erupted at Lake Hughes Wednesday afternoon August 12, 2020, that ravaged through over 12,000 acres of heavy brush in Angeles National Forest. Over 1100 firefighters from all over California worked together to contain the blaze. Hundreds of people were forced to evacuate their homes and businesses. Five structures and scores of automobiles were destroyed in the fire. There were no reported injuries.
