Captain Bentley started his In law enforcement working for police departments In the village of Fredonia and the town of Ellicott.
Captain Bentley was hired by the sheriff office In 1985.

Sheriff Quattrone said Bentley was knowen for putting In alot of hours at work proof he was still doing what he loved.
Captain Bentley was hired by his father who served as sheriff.

During his tenure at the sheriff office captain Bentley was In charge of the swat team.
He was also a fire arms Instructor he also taught numerous topics at the sheriff academy.
Captain Bentley was a graduate of the FBI national academy.
