Whitman, MA - At around 3:10 P.M. on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 27th, the Whitman Fire Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Auburnville Way, an over-55 community off of 877 Auburn Street. Ambulance-249, Engine-243 and Car-3 responded.
Companies arrived to find a single-vehicle motor vehicle accident with one car into a wooden guardrail near the clubhouse. The guardrail smashed the front of the vehicle, came through the windshield and completely into the passenger compartment on the passenger side of the vehicle. Luckily, the only occupant of the vehicle, the driver, was reported to be uninjured. Engine-243 stood by while the vehicle was removed from the wooden guardrail.
