Kings Park, NY - The Kings Park Fire Department responded to a reported house fire at 35 Woodfield Avenue on Tuesday evening, May 5th.

Firefighters arrived to find a heavily involved two-story private dwelling, and a working fire was transmitted. Multiple mutual aid departments were called to the scene. The fire took about two hours to bring under control.

Two firefighters were injured while battling the blaze, and are expected to be ok. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
