Vails Gate FD responded to a vehicle into pole on Blooming Grove Turnpike on the morning of May 18th. New Windsor Police closed road at Willow and Forge Hill Road.
Firefighters checked vehicle for hazards and made vehicle safe. Central Hudson was called to scene. Road remained closed until they arrived. Vehicle was impounded and driver
was arrested. New Windsor Police investigating the cause.
