HARRISBURG, PA - On April 20th, Colonial Park Engine 33 and mutual aid units responded to a reported house fire with potential entrapment in the 5200 block of Laurel Lane.
When crews arrived, they discovered that both residents had left the house and verified that nobody was still inside. Firefighters stretched handlines to start suppression operations after spotting smoke and flames coming from a Cape Cod-style house.
While communicating with on-scene mutual aid partners, units sought to contain the fire and monitor its spread throughout the building.
Multiple calls reporting the incident, according to officials, ensured a prompt reaction and resource deployment.
