BLANDON, PA - On April 10th shortly after 11:20 a.m., the Blandon Fire Department responded to a reported garage fire on Mount Laurel Road. Chief 12 arrived and discovered a 30' x 50' shop with fire visible from the Bravo side. Soon after, Engine 45, Engine 12, and Ladder 12 arrived and started working. While Ladder 12 forced entry and finished a primary search, crews stretched two handlines—one for interior fire attack and one for exposure protection. The fire was quickly contained thanks to well-coordinated efforts, and there were no reported injuries. The cause was investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal. On-scene assistance was provided by mutual help organizations.
