Nottingham Fire & EMS Support Extended Response Following Officer-Involved Shooting
Nottingham, NH - Nottingham Fire Rescue Department units were dispatched to stage in Raymond after a Nottingham Police officer was struck by gunfire while assisting another agency. Ambulance 2 arrived first and established operations at the staging area, later joined by command staff and Engine 2 to provide support.
The injured officer was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Nottingham crews remained on scene for an extended period, assisting with EMS coverage, fire suppression standby, and incident support alongside regional agencies.
Additional units handled transport assignments and in-town emergencies, while coverage plans were implemented to maintain service. The department also acknowledged the support of New Life Church and mutual aid partners for their assistance during the incident.
