Automatic Mutual Aid Supports Simultaneous Emergencies

GREECE, NY — March 21st — During a spike in emergency calls around the Town of Greece, the Barnard Professional Firefighters Local 4030 responded to numerous major occurrences that were reported in a matter of minutes. Units were sent to a traumatic injury incident, multiple reports of structural fires, and a car accident. North Greece Professional Firefighters Local 3827, Lake Shore Professional Firefighters IAFF 3981, Gates Firefighters IAFF Local 3792, Monroe Ambulance, and the Emergency Communications Department at 911 Rochester, New York, all provided assistance through automatic mutual aid.


All occurrences were covered thanks to coordinated dispatching. Until operations calmed, units stayed committed.
