Columbus, OH - Hamilton Township Fire Crews responded to a residential fire after an explosion rocked the Enchanted Acres mobile home park on Janice Marie Blvd., just south of I270, at 6:42 A.M. on February 5th.
Columbus Fire crews also responded to the scene, where crews found two injured people near the demolished single-story structure when they arrived. The two were transported to area hospitals for treatment as firefighters extinguished the blaze that was hot enough to melt siding off of neighboring homes.
A debris field extended into the yards of surrounding homes after the explosion, which was heard a mile away. The cause of the pre-dawn explosion remains under investigation.
