On March 9, Bethpage Fire Department units responded to Oyster Bay as mutual aid for a reported school fire.

Assistant Chief Fitzwilliam and Ladder 3 were initially deployed to offer standby support for the event. Ladder 3 was later sent to the area and designated as the FAST (Firefighter Assist and Search Team). Crews stayed on the scene to support operations and guarantee firefighter safety throughout the response. There were no injuries recorded during the incident.
