Mutual Aid Response to Reported Propane Leak in Charlotte

Ferrisburg, VT - On 24th February 2026 at approximately 9:40 a.m., the Ferrisburgh Fire Department was dispatched to provide mutual aid for a reported propane gas leak inside a building on Ferry Road in Charlotte.
Ferrisburgh Engine 1 responded with personnel and worked alongside the Charlotte Fire and Rescue and the Shelburne Fire Department.
Firefighters assisted in locating and investigating the source of the leak. Following a thorough search and continuous monitoring of the structure, the building was deemed safe for reentry and was turned back over to the property owner.
