The Village of Suffern Police Department loss a true hero last week, Lt. John Mallon who was a 40-year veteran of the force, but not only was he an officer he was a husband, father, grandfather, hockey coach, and the past President of the local PBA and a very well respected member of the community. John passed away last week suddenly and today his family, friends, and colleagues from around Rockland County came to Sacred Heart Church to remember a true friend.
