APOPKA, FL — February 10th — The Apopka Fire Department participated in Orange County Public Schools' World Heart Day at Apopka High School, where students received hands-on CPR training throughout the day. Firefighters visited all seven physical education courses, emphasizing students the significance of early detection of cardiac arrest and successful chest compressions. Hands-only CPR can increase survival chances if administered promptly and accurately before emergency responders arrive.

The Apopka Fire Department congratulated Apopka High School and Orange County Public Schools for the opportunity to collaborate on health, safety, and disaster preparedness.
