LOWELL, MA - On January 12th, Lowell Fire received a telephone alarm reporting a fire in a large three-story apartment building on Hildreth Street. Companies from West 6th Street arrived to find fire in an apartment on floor two in the rear. An additional ladder company was requested beyond the initial response, bringing Lowell Ladder 3 to the scene. The fire was knocked down within a few minutes, and it appeared to be contained to the single unit.
