Building Collapse Injures Two Workers in Windham

Windham, NH - Windham Fire responded to Chestnut Road around 10:30 A.M. on Monday, January 11th, for a partial wall collapse on the second floor of a house under construction. Two workers were reportedly injured. Due to the location of the injured workers a ladder truck was requested as well as an engine from Derry Fire for manpower to lift the injured workers using a stokes basket. One patient was transported to a nearby landing zone to be flown to a Boston area hospital. The second patient was transported to an area hospital. The accident is under investigation.
