Putnam County Fire Rescue operates a 2009 Freightliner/Pierce Contender as Engine 11. This apparatus has a 1000-gallon water tank, a 1250 gpm Hale Pump, 1 front bumper jump line, 2 midship, and 1 rear preconnect attack handline. In addition to standard firefighting equipment, Engine 11 carries a full set of TNT battery operated extrication equipment, DeWalt battery powered circular and chain saws and a full set of cribbing as special equipment for vehicle extrication calls.
