Vails Gate FD responded to Kristy Babcock Park for a helicopter stand-by on July 21st. Firefighters set up the landing zone for an incoming MedEvac. New Windsor EMS transported an injured subject to the park, and once the subject was stabilized, they were transported to the MedEvac. New Windsor Police were at the scene. The MedEvac lifted off and was on its way to Westchester Medical Center.
