Junior Firefighter Hannah Stetson received congratulations from the Andover Maine Volunteer Fire Department on June 6th for finishing the Region 9 Fire Science Program.
According to officials, the curriculum gives students practical training and fundamental understanding in emergency response, firefighting, fire prevention, and fire department operations. For those who want to work in the fire department, finishing the program is a major accomplishment.
