Sturbridge, MA - Sturbridge Firefighters continued training with call personnel working toward Motor Pump Operator (MPO) qualification check-offs.
An MPO candidate training on Engine 2 completed a series of practical scenarios focused on engine company placement, including a tractor-trailer fire at Stop & Shop, a commercial restaurant fire at Empire Village, residential fire responses, and a motor vehicle accident blocking drill.
These hands-on exercises help strengthen decision-making and operational readiness, ensuring crews are prepared for a wide range of emergency incidents.
