Santa Parade Around the Village of Ravena

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

The Ravena Fire Department kept their annual tradition of bringing Santa throughout the village for kids to see.

Engine 26-20, Ladder 26-70, Rescue 26-40 and the Village of Ravena Highway Department helped parade Santa throughout streets of the Ravena Fire District on December 11 and 12.

Typically the local fire departments in the area hold one large Christmas parade, ending at the Ravena Firehouse where a tree-lighting ceremony is held as well as gathering at the firehouse afterwards for treats.

The annual holiday parade and tree lighting ceremony were cancelled in Ravena this year due to COVID, so they made sure to ride down each road very slow this year so kids could see the lights and Santa.
