Christian Aid Ministries SAR Water Rescue Training

Cincinnati- The Ohio based Christian Aid Ministries search and rescue team spent the morning of May 24th, 2021 performing water rescue training on the Ohio River in Cincinnati. SAR units 206 and 246 practiced water rescue techniques as well as command poste operations. The CAM Search and Rescue team is comprised of highly trained volunteers who donate their time and expertise to assist emergency responders in finding lost or missing individuals. The CAM SAR Team also maintains a command trailer that is equipped with computers, mapping software, GPS Units, and communications systems which include a base unit, hand held radios, and a repeater. Their rescue boats are also equipped with SONAR units to aid in water rescue activities. The Ohio Christian Aid Ministries Search and Rescue Team is based in Berlin, Ohio and is a self-funded organization that can be activated on short notice and is a shining example of volunteerism at it's best.
