This unit will not start and run. We tried installing 6 new batteries, but apparently the starter is shot. Unit remained in service as a reserve until its replacement, but once it was decided it needed all new brakes, rotors, etc..., unit was deadlined. Unit has a stainless steel body. This is a six man cab with 4 seats and 2 flip down seats. It has a Detroit Diesel 6V92 motor w/ 12,401 hours (may or may not be accurate). The unit has approximately 132,539 miles; the odometer has been replaced, it shows 53,794 miles. It has an Allison HTB741 automatic transmission. The drivers side On-spot is present, but not the officers side. Unit was maintained on a regular basis up until the time it was removed from service. The pump certification for this vehicle has expired and unknown when its last test was conducted. It has a 1250 GPM Waterous pump, 750 gal. poly tank and the pump hours are 842. Unit has a foam tank, but unsure of capacity and type. It has black vinyl interior with some tears and rips in cab. Some rips and tears in the crew area. Body is in good condition and has minor scratches and dings. The paint is peeling or cracked in spots. Windshield is in good condition. Officers side window is cracked. Tires are in good condition. Decals have been removed. Unit has a motor generator. Equipped with 2 hard sleeves (fair condition)and a deck gun. Cannot confirm if lights (emergency, et...) and siren are operational. The officers side wiper is missing and parts of the Federal Q are missing. This unit will need to be towed and if going onto a trailer, a winch will be needed to get this unit onto the trailer.
