1992 Freightliner 6x6 Water Truck

1992 Freightliner, All wheel drive (6x6), M916A1 Water Truck.
Obtained from the military and converted to a fire department water tender in 2012, this truck features a 3000 gallon steel water tank, an 850 GPM Berkley pump, 2, 2.5" discharges, storage compartment, and LED work lighting.

This tanker is powered by a Detroit 60 series diesel engine, and an Allison HT-740 automatic transmission. Berkley pump is powered by a hydraulic pump, run off the PTO.

Would make a great off road construction or forestry water truck!

Was removed from service 7/27/2018, and we are selling because we replaced the vehicle with a 2009 model. All decals, fire radios, sirens, and emergency lighting will be removed prior to sale.
