FIRE TRUCK IS LOCATED IN NAGS HEAD, NC. This auction is for a 1992 E-One Hurricane Hush Fire Pumper, 4 door enclosed cab. Detroit 8V92 450hp engine with Jacobs engine brake. This vehicle is 25 years old and in fair condition. It has a 1,000 gallon poly tank, and a 1,500 gpm Hale pump model GSMG 150-23; an Allisson 4 speed automatic transmission, an Onan 6kw diesel generator. Engine currently has 46,481 miles and 2,608 hours. The GVWR is 39,800 lbs. Body and chassis is in good condition. Truck runs and drives with no issues. Some rust on undercarriage, but no substantial frame rust. Aluminum body has some corrosion. Paint is faded and has some bubbling spots. Maintenance records and manuals available for inspection. Tires in good condition and the windshield and other glass have no cracks. Seating for 3 in cab front with 2 SCBA seating locations, rear of cab has seating for four with 2 SCBA jump seats. The interior is ok however the driver seat cushion is torn and other interior parts have wear. It has a Federal electronic siren & Federal Q siren. Hale pump functions and pumps capacity however failed most recent pump test due to its ability to hold a dry vacuum. Currently the pump input shaft is pitted and causing issues with the sealing of the pump packing and will most likely need to be replaced to pass the pump test. Deck gun piping but the deck gun has been removed. Includes 2- 10' x 6' hard sleeve hoses, 1- 200' mounted electric cord reel, 2-mounted telescopic flood lights at 500 watts. The generator runs but needs a starter, the old starter has been removed. There is a title for this vehicle. The vehicle is being sold "AS IS".
