1990 custom Sutphen Fire Engine. This truck has been used in reserve status for the last five years. It has been used on the occasion that one of our other Engines was down for service and was able to preform the necessary duties needed. Mechanically the Engine (Detroit 92 series) is sound and has a rebuilt motor that was done in 2013. The apparatus has been maintained as an in service reserve apparatus and had received annual Preventive Maintenance as well as other necessary maintenance to keep the Engine in service and usable. The Hale 1500 GPM pump (750 gallon tank) has been annually pump tested and certified. These documents are available for inspection. The truck has body defects as would be expected with its age - IE paint chips, scratches and such. The emergency lights remain operable as well as the electric sire is in working condition. The Federal Q siren does not work and was not fixed due to the apparatus being in reserve status. This apparatus is being sold due to the purchase of an additional truck and is no longer needed in reserve status.
