1978 GMC 6500 Tanker Truck.

This truck has a 427 gas V8 engine paired with a 5 speed transmission and 7.17 rear axle ratio. It runs, drives, and starts well. The truck has a plug in located on front of truck to keep engine block warm to assist with cold weather starts. The truck has a 2000 GALLON tank. The interior is in good shape and does not have any tears in the seats. The tires are in good shape and have lots of tread left. We have included a photo of the spec sheet located inside the truck that shows all the options this truck has.

The exterior has scratches and dings around the sides near the bottom and small places of surface rust around the utility doors, but is structurally sound. There is one big dent behind the drivers side wheel as shown in the picture. The muffler under the the passenger side of the truck is missing and will need replaced. The dump valve at the rear of the truck leaks a little and will need to be repaired soon. The light bar on top of the truck has rotational lights. The lights function but the rotators stopped working. We believe the gear inside the mechanism is worn and causing the lights not to engage. The radio and siren will NOT come with the vehicle.
