APPARATUS IS LOCATED IN PLEASANT PLAIN, OHIO. This 1977 Heavy Rescue Truck, Diamond Reo Model DC10142D, manufactured by Welch Fire Equipment Co., has a Detroit model 6V53N Diesel engine; with 205 HP @ 2,300 RPM, and an Allison automatic 5-speed transmission, model MT650. Vehicle starts, runs, and is operable.
Interior seating is black vinyl and has seating for 9, with 4 seats set up for SCBA's. Gray interior with wood paneling, also includes a refrigerator and a microwave; both units will run off shore line, or generator. Vehicle has top mounted A/C unit, by Dou-Therm, which runs off the generator.
Exterior of the truck is Red in color. Front tires are size 11R 22.5 14PR, and are like new. Rear tires are 10.11 - 20, with over 50% tread remaining. All glass on the truck in in good condition. Overall length is 32 feet, Width is 8 feet, and Height is 11 feet, 3 inches. GVWR is 33,200 lbs; Front - 12,000 lbs., and Rear - 21,200 lbs.
Additional equipment includes: A front winch with 20,000 pound capacity, a 12KW Onan diesel generator, 1 Hannay hard mounted cord reel with 100' capacity; and 4 each 1,500 telescoping flood lights; model RAD QF1500.
The truck was originally built for another Fire Department in Hamilton County. When they consolidated with another department, it was sold to us and we have operated it ever since. Vehicle has been well maintained by our own maintenance department.
Truck was recently removed from service, when we purchased a new fire engine and transferred the rescue equipment to the new truck.
The vehicle is classified as a "Heavy Rescue" and is in good condition. Everything listed is operational.
Township name and logo decals have been removed from the vehicle, as seen in the pictures.
There is some rust on some of the panels.
