FIRE TRUCK IS LOCATED IN DUBLIN, GA. 1988 Ford C8000 TILT CAB, 10.4L V8 DIESEL. 3208 Caterpillar. This vehicle was running and operational when parked. Batteries are dead, the truck takes (2) 8D truck batteries, the truck will have to have these batteries to start or the vehicle will have to be towed. This vehicle was serviced every 4,000 miles. Automatic transmission was operational when parked approximately 3 months ago. Exterior color is red/white, paint has minor scratches, cab has some rust at the drip rail on both sides, passenger door window is missing and both front and passenger door window crank handles are missing. Decals have been removed and impressions remain. Interior is red/black vinyl seats front and back. Some tears in the seats and the vinyl is brittle, the back seat is torn bad. Rubber floor mats appear to be in good condition. No radio, A/C, or airbags. Power steering. Additional equipment is a Pierce Suburban Pumper body with light bar, siren, and spot lights. This Pierce has failed pump test since 2013 due to not producing 100% capacity, relief valve was stuck closed, and failed dry vacuum test. The truck was re-tested in 2014 and failed again. Also has a Homelite 4400 watt gas powered generator, operational condition is unknown.
