FIRE TRUCK IS LOCATED IN GRAFTON, OH. PLEASE READ & UNDERSTAND COMPLETE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING!--

Available for auction is a 1973 Ford C900 Sutphen Gas engine Fire Truck. BEING SOLD AS IS, Truck was removed from first line service in 2013 & became a 2nd reserve truck. Vehicle has sat idle for some time. Truck has over 15,204 miles on the odometer & has countless run time.

Please note that Brakes are not in good shape & truck should not be driven until overhaul is complete. Alternator is failing, Truck, runs & starts on its own at time of listing, Manual 5 speed transmission, Hard to hit gears rite, a lot of play or slop in the shifting linkage, Clutch is worn out too in our opinion. Tires are fair. Truck comes with Onan Generator, It last ran in 2013 & it does not run now what so ever. Lights, some pry bars, ladder & an old dry chemical fire extinguisher is still on truck. Deck gun comes with truck too, it is a permanent mount type.

No air conditioning. Manual everything.

Hale Pump still pumps & tank holds 500 gallons. Tank & lines have been drained to best of our abilities. Valves and controls are all very stiff.

Last known needed repairs of 2/02/2017 was as follows, headlight hi/lo switch is bad, pump panel gauges are leaking & need to be replaced, misc lights are out, alternator is failing, windshield washer does not work, left hand intake valve assembly needs replaced, broken bladder hoses, clutch, brakes. NONE of these repairs have been made.
