Fire crews stage.

HUDSON, NY - Fire crews from two counties took part in a mutual aid drill Sunday, June 6, 2009 at a former factory in Hudson.

Firefighters from Hudson, Catskill, Stottville and Greenport stations 1 and 3 conducted a drill at Hudson’s former L and B factory on third street.

Tower trucks from Hudson, Catskill and Stottville established aerial support as interior firefighters simulated a response to a working structure fire in the several-hundred-thousand-square-feet metal building.

Firefighters also had to ensure an adequate water supply dropping thousands of feet of five-inch supply line to water sources in Hudson’s South Bay and at the Hudson Boat Launch.
