On Thursday March 3, Stony Hill volunteers were dispatched for a car smoking on Stony Hill Rd. Upon arrival, crews found more than a smoking car and confirmed a working car fire with fire in the engine compartment and extending into the passenger area.
Engine 3's crew quickly extinguished the fire and Past Chief Rubino, recently back from retirement, got some time on the the pump panel.
Crews cleared within 30 minutes.
