The Mobile Fire Rescue Department is gearing up for the grand opening of its newest fire station/ public safety city complex building in West Mobile.

The Mobile Fire Rescue Department is gearing up for the grand opening of its newest fire station/ public safety city complex building in West Mobile.
The Mobile Fire Rescue Department is gearing up for the grand opening of its newest fire station/ public safety city complex building in West Mobile.
The fire department has already purchased three new fire engines that are setting at the Mobile Fire Rescue Training center located on Owens Street off Virginia Street in the downtown area.
These three new fire trucks are setting on ready and waiting on the Mayors approval to open the new fire station/ public safety city complex in West Mobile where one of these three fire trucks is to be stationed.
The city of Mobile will be receiving more new fire trucks to include a new ladder truck that is to be located at the new fire station in West Mobile.
The two other new fire trucks will be replacing two of the older trucks in the city of Mobile. One of those new fire engines will be located at Central Fire Station in downtown Mobile to replace the old engine three.
The other new fire engine will be located Ashland Fire Station on Old Shell Road to replace the old engine twelve.
The fire safer grants fire safer grants along with these new fire engines are a part of government grants awarded to the city of Mobile called fire safer grants.
Rumors have been circulating that the new fire station in West Mobile off Airport Boulevard next to the Mobile Regional Airport is to be open sometime in February 2011.
The new fire station/ public safety city complex building will house fire department employees and equipment, police department equipment and employees and some other city related offices to be located within the building.
Also in the works for the city of Mobile, the fire department is in the process of building another new fire station in Theodore Alabama in the Bellingrath Gardens area of West Mobile off Highway 90 as part of the safer grant government funding.
