LACEY, NJ – On February 7, 2009, approximately 4:00 p.m., the Forked River Fire Department responded to an unknown fire in the area of Manchester Avenue.

On arrival Chief Kevin Flynn found a Backhoe fully involved. The crew from Engine 6021 stretched an attack line and quickly knocked down the fire using foam.

The Ocean County Fire Marshal's Office and Lacey Police are investigating the fire.
