Robertsville Fire Co. crews working a handline on one of the steep portions of the hill
Marlboro, NJ- On Thursday, March 29 the Robertsville Fire Company responded to a brush fire that eventually burned about 1.5 acres in an uphill path in the direction of homes and out-buildings located off of Laurel Lane.
Difficult access and Red Flag fire conditions hampered firefighting efforts. A Red Flag warning was issued state-wide today for dry and windy conditions. At the time of this fire, relative humidities were about 13%.
The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes by Robertsville and B10 crews of the New Jersey Forest Fire Service.
