Marlboro, NJ- Section B10 of the New Jersey Forest Fire Service, recently held a Brush Truck Operations/Safety class at the Robertsville Fire Co. in Marlboro Twp. As always, the New Jersey Forest Fire Service continues to build working relationships with local fire companies through joint training.
About 90 minutes of classroom and videos was followed by demonstrations and hands-on stations outside. To conclude the class, tractor/plow operator Bob Allen, cut a plow line through the large wooded area owned by the fire company. Some of the participating brush trucks then drove through the push-line created by the tractor/plow to practice their off-road techniques.
