Forked River Fire Department visits First Adventure Learning Center

LACEY, NJ - On October 8, 2008, the Forked River Fire Department visited the First Adventure Learning Center during National Fire Prevention Week.

Firefighters displayed one of their pumpers, demonstrated the use of some of their equipment and taught the students how to prevent and survive fires.

All students enjoyed the presentation, received plastic fire helmets, wristbands and stickers. The children especially loved it when they got to activate the siren and blow the air horn.
