Lacey Township Underwater Rescue and Recovery Team help prevent a future accident.

LACEY, NJ - On January 20, 2009, the Lacey Township Underwater Rescue and Recovery Team was dispatched to Mill Street to recover an abandoned paddle boat floating in the Cedar Lake.

The boat was removed for fear that children would walk out to the edge of the ice and fall into the lake.

The Forked River Fire Department and the Lacey Police Department provided assistance.
