LACEY, NJ - On October 27, 2008 at 5:15 a.m. the Forked River Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire at the Forked River rest stop on the Garden State Parkway.

On arrival Chief Kevin Flynn found the engine compartment of a 1999 Chevy Blazer fully involved. The crew from Engine 6021 stretched an attack line making an aggressive attack quickly knocking down the fire.

No injuried were reported
