--LANESBOROUGH, MASS
Brainspiral Technologies, Inc. is pleased to
announce the launch of unique websites for Fire, Police, and EMS
providers. The Lanesborough Fire Department, under the leadership of
Chief Charlie Durfee, has been one of the first to receive a website
redesign. Since the Fall of 2007, Chief Durfee, and Lanesborough
Firefighters have collaborated on the lanesboroughfire.com for a
visually appealing, easy to maintain website - a new web home for the
Lanesborough Fire Department.
“This upgrade provides a simple new look for my firefighters”, according
to Charlie Durfee. “Showing it around to the Board of Selectmen,
everybody is happy with the layout and the possibilities for it down the
road. We couldn't be happier with the look of the site. And 2 of my
firefighters are learning how to keep it up to date.”
The site was developed by Brainspiral designers after interviewing Chief
Durfee on what special features he wanted to highlight. The purpose of
Lanesborough's Website is to communicate regulations and information to
the residents of the Fire District, as well as to bring training
calenders, photos and special announcements to the home of every
firefighter with an internet connection.”
Neil Myers is an Lanesborough Police Officer, EMT, and firefighter. He
uses a simple web login to generate updates, training logs, and he
strives to improve content. Alex Steele, of Brainspiral, works closely
on the training and maintenance for Lanesboroughfire.com. Also a local
Firefighter and EMT, he is in a well suited to meeting with Fire, Police
and rescue leaders for the design a website appropriate to the community
where services are provided.
Founded by local resident and Williams College grad, Hunter Greene,
